The 1990s ska punk band Reel Big Fish performed at Lighthouse Tavern Friday night in an event organized by SUB Live, a division of the Student Union Board.

All but five of the 250 tickets to the show were sold before the night of the concert, which was attended by a rowdy crowd of fans who did anything possible to push their way to the front of the stage.

The band was characteristically clad in unusual clothing, with lead singer Aaron Barrett in his usual black-and-white checkered shirt and red tie. The high-energy onstage antics and small venue size gave the band ample opportunity to interact with the crowd.

The opening act was popular student band Anonymous, a regular act at the Lighthouse Tavern.

Much like Reel Big Fish, Anonymous features brass instruments as well as guitars.
